Violence is rarely the answer…

…but when it is the answer, it’s the only answer!

Learn to use the tool of violence to save your own life, or the life of someone you love, in a single weekend.

Our next TFT Live Training in Sydney is the weekend of 5–6 November.

A participant at our last weekend commented, “I woke up on Monday morning knowing I had a skill I didn’t have when I went to sleep on Friday night. If I had to protect my family, with their lives in immediate danger, I knew I had the knowledge, the intent and the ability to do whatever it took”.

What makes Target Focus Training different?

TFT is an evidence-based program that uses the best research available to empower you to use the most important weapon you possess – your brain. Because surviving a violent encounter requires both the knowledge of what to do, and the will to do it.

And, like learning to ride a bike or swim, once you quickly and easily learn these skills, you never forget them. In the process you gain a true life-skill, one that enables you to survive the most critical 5 seconds of your life.

If you are a busy person with no interest in martial arts who just wants to learn how to survive violence, this weekend is the only training you will ever need.

If you are a serious martial artist, you will be astonished to discover what you’ve never learned before.

This is not just another self-defence primer with a bunch of scenarios and a lot of feel-good nonsense, nor is it cultural or legacy martial arts or combat sport where you’re safe behind a set of rules and a referee to enforce them.

And it’s not about punching and kicking… or learning how to fight. It has nothing to do with athleticism, size, speed or strength.

Because none of that guarantees you’ll survive unexpected violence.

Why it’s so cheap

Basically, we really want people at greater risk to have the knowledge and skills to feel and actually be safer in their homes, at work and on the street. We therefore offer a range of prices to cater for those we particularly want to help.

So, the basic cost is $495

But, if you register and pay by Sunday 30 October, we’ll give you $100 off for a cost of $395

However, if you and someone we really want to help both register and pay by Sunday 30 October, we’ll give you both our buddy deal — $200 off (40% discount) for a cost of $295 each

To qualify for the buddy deal, one of you must be someone we really want to support through this training including:

  • female people
  • lgbtqi people
  • people who work in helping/caring professions
  • people otherwise at greater than usual risk

Special student offer

Young people starting university can be at extremely high risk: they might be away from home for the first time, without a support network and under a lot of social pressure. Our end-of-year special for tertiary students (and particularly those about to start tertiary study) is a buddy deal at the incredible rate of $195 each.

Pay it forward

We were really inspired by someone who registered and paid for our first live training weekend but then had to pull out. They donated their spot to “someone in need”. The spot was taken up by a young man who had previously been the victim of a brutal attack that put him in hospital for months. His benefactor said, “I have been very fortunate to have great friends. We are not all as fortunate. I don’t have truckloads of cash, but in friends, I’m richer than Rockefeller!”

If you’d like to help us reach the people who need this training the most, maybe you’d consider a “pay it forward” spot for someone in need at the buddy rate of $295.
