Seminar Tour 2012

Aikido Yuishinkai Wagga is very honoured to host Master Koretoshi Maruyama this year.
Maruyama sensei is the founder of Aikido Yuishinkai International and a direct student of Morihei Ueshiba, the founder of Aikido. Born in 1936, Maruyama sensei began his Aikido training in 1954 when he was 18yrs old and eventually becoming a full time instructor in 1967 at the Aikikai Hombu Dojo. He later joined Ki Society founded by Master Koichi Tohei in 1972 and was appointed as the Chief Instructor and later on becoming President travelling extensively around the world to promote Aikido.

National Seminar at Goshinkan Dojo Byron Bay

Byron Bay Aikido Festival

2 - 8 October at Goshinkan dojo, Byron Bay

Goshinkan will also host Okajima sensei (Chief Instructor of Kansei district, head office in Osaka, Japan), as well as Williams sensei (Chief Instructor Aikido Yuishinkai International).

Maruyama Sensei will teach 9 sessions over 7 days. Williams Sensei and Okajima Sensei will teach 4 sessions each.

This shall be a wonderful opportunity to experience three great teachers.

There will also be seminars in:

Tasmania
Hobart 17-19 October

New Zealand
Auckland 24/25 October
